I presume the top tier of Flying Club?

But then again, it's probably the the case that the first rule of GB50 is you do not talk about GB50, so we may never know...

There is an additional level above Gold for very regular (and thus high spending) and very important VS pax. They are given additional benefits not available to meer mortals.

It is rumoured that there are a small number of such persons who are members of this very site but if I named names I would probbaly find my luggage diverted on my next flight :0 :0

I believe, although someone like Mr Preiffer will need to be around, that it simply relates to the first grouping of the top 50 most frequent fliers ... nothing more sexy.

interesting - I am familiar with UNIQ and the benefits but heard the term GB50 last week and was curious.

GB50 and GBTops were interchangeable for a while, I believe, now UNIQ is used more commonly - GB50 were frequent fliers, whereas UNIQ has different categories, such as FOSRB (friends and family of SRB),celebs (A to whatever!), CIPs, and frequent fliers - this all heresay / corridor conversation stuff, none of it is printed / public!
