Continental fare codes on VS flights...

Quick question.

If I book a 'W' class seat on continental.com for a flight being operated by VS will I get a Premium Economy seat reservation?

Continental list the fare type as an Economy fare (they don't seem to have a concept of PE, just Economy or Business)...

Any one know?

Unlikely. CO fare codes are not the same as VS ones.

99.9% you will only get economy. CO will only sell you econ or biz class. They will not sell you PE because they do not have such a product to sell so it does not exist on their system.
same for miles redemption bookings.

However, to contradict all that - you can make a CO *A booking for products they do not offer ! Such as Y, J and F on a 3 cabin partner (even though CO does not have F).
