I am waiting for my account to be credited with 3 tier points from VX flights which will transfer me to AU status. I am travelling VS PE in 10 days or so and obviously want to make use of AU benefits. Is there any way of getting the VX tier point credit sped up? I have already spoken to FC support and have them sent copies of the boarding cards. Knowing what the LHR Clubhouse bouncers are like I would rather get it sorted in advance of my trip than turn up and try to convince them at the door.

Good luck to you on that one. I'm still waiting for my miles and tier points to be posted from my trip on VX in July. :0 VS have had my boarding cards and e-tickets for some months now but they still haven't been posted. I know they have been received by VS and they have contacted VX on more than one occasion for confirmation that I have taken the flights but I'm still waiting

VX - whilst a real breath of fresh air in USA domestic flights - is very hit and miss. Sometimes they come through in a couple of weeks, sometimes couple of months and sometimes not at all.

My ones from October didn't get posted, but it was during the major outage from the upgrade. After the minimum period, filled out the missing miles form and set everything off. Three days later miles and tier points were posted on my account.

That's probably why I'm not getting mine - and probably won't :(!

Still waiting for my tier points to be credited despite numerous calls to The Office over past days. It seems the enigmatic Flying Club Support are the only people who can either push through crediting of tier points or granting of CH access in the interim. And they only answer the phone 10:00-12:00 and 14:00-16:00 GMT :(! Three calls to them to date, sent boarding passes by e-mail and by recorded delivery, but thus far just a unhelpfully deafening silence in return. Not good service Virgin! What a way to treat people who are supposed to be 'valued customers' n( Grrrrrr.

Am pleased to report that the excellent staff on the customer phone lines at The Office have come to the rescue and made the flying club support team see sense y) Some truly dedicated staff took up the cause and worked this through with the FCS team, without whose involvement FCS would have stuck to the bureaucreatic, procedural 30-day rule. I won't name names here but thank you to the very excellent member of staff who dealt with my case and to those behind the scenes whose names I don't know who were involved.

Glad you managed to get everything sorted. Just shows VS do have some great staff who are willing to go that extra mile for their customers.

I'm pleased you got it sorted out -- well done.

Having said that, no one should really have to go through all of this to achieve a result that ought to be automatic...

That's a bad, bad Virgin. v(
I assume you still have boarding stubs? The only surefire way seems to be to send these in via special delivery to The Office (at pax's cost, unfortunately) and to then wait a further 30 days before chasing. The yarn they spin you is that the VS bit of Virgin needs to talk to the VX bit of Virgin and the VX bit needs to confirm to VS that you were on the manifest and registered your FC number for miles/points rather than the VX scheme before VS can credit. And that all takes soooo much time. :$ And it matters not one jot that VS/VX are all under the Virgin umber-ella and that Surrichard is Lord and Master of all he surveys. I assume if you're still waiting after so long it means the process has broken somewhere and you'll have to intervene to get what's rightfully yours. Good luck!

Quite!! I travelled with VX on two flights in July. I have submitted the relevant documentation to VS (at international rates from Ireland) and have had several phone calls with the FC Gold line at my own expense since I do not have access to the free Au line and still no miles
