Can any V-flyers who are used to flying with Virgin let me know the difference between configuration 1 and configuration 2 planes. We`re travelling on VS073, all along it`s been config 1, now it`s changed to config 2. I`ve looked on the maps, and we had (all being well) managed to hold 2x2 of the rear seats, on config 2 the diagram shows there are dots by the side of config 2 rear seats, does this mean they are not window seats? or is it just the diagram. Also it shows seats 62,63,64 further in than 61 are they staggered or are they level as in config 1. I hope this makes sense, I really appreciate any light that can be shed on these seats.

as far as i can remember the only difference between the LGW configs is that there is an office in front of the 2nd door on the left and so there are fewer seats in the mini-economy section.

the only major difference is the entertainment system.

Thanks for the quick reply.
The dots instead of a wall on the seat map seems there to confuse people then, seat guru says we can`t lean on the wall, but was really hoping for a window. A change in entertainment system, for better or worse? Some Trip reports say on here English Rose is so so, friends have recently been on Ruby Tuesday which was off more than on. Don`t know which plane we`ll be on Wednesday from Manchester, the kids have their ipods up to date, but would like to experience a little of the IFE as we`re travelling back on A330, just want to compare.
