Hi - I called to request extra legroom seats on my 6/29 SFO/LHR flight and now have no seats assigned online. I did have them before I called. Is this due to my call I hope? Also was charged for the extra legroom but never received a confirm which I was told to expect within 24 hours (now 2 days). Lastly when I booked my flight I used my maiden name which is what I use exclusively EXCEPT I had hyphenated my name with my married name on my passport many years ago. Should I call and change? It hasn't been an issue on prior international trips but wondering if could be a problem at the gate. THANK YOU!!!

My advice would be to give VS a call to make sure that they completed the extra legroom request and have sent the payment confirmations to the correct email. These seats do not tend to show up on seatmaps before OLCI so if everything has been processed correctly you should be able to select seats then.

To avoid any delays at immigration or the gate I would give VS a call about the name on your passport too. I would think that they would need your full name as appears on your passport for security reasons, but again open to be corrected by those wiser members..

Hope you have a good trip. y)

Also what name did you use for your ESTA? Assuming you need such a thing.
