I've just booked Drive Through Check in for next week, on booking the nice lady from Virgin said not to bother with On line Check In as "we'll do that for you".

Is this the normal process? I like to do OLCI to be more confident of seat request being honoured..

When I used DTCI I did complete OLCI but that was more because I hadn't been told not too. But like you I also want to dot the Is and cross the Ts

I've done DTCI before and done OLCI in the normal way. I'd do it at T-24 despite what the nice lady said. She may be referring to the printing of BPs which I think they do as a matter of course when you arrive.

I think Martin is right and as per the rule, if you want to secure your seats you should do OLCI 13 or more hours before your flight.

Another vote for doing the OLCI yourself...
