Hi all,

We are flying out of LGW this Friday (27/07) and like everyone, i am keen to know which plane we will be flying on and whether it is one of the revamped ones as we are flying PE

Seat check-in is obviously not available till 24 hrs before i am being told so does anyone have any thought or ideas which bird we may be on please and the likelihood of it being a "jazzed up one" ? :)

I am also interested to hear peoples thoughts of PE seating upstairs compared to those on the main deck.

Thanks in advance.

Two out of seven (?); per security, aircraft availablity etc the actual aircraft is only known when you get to the gate. You may have at least 24 hours notice as the OLCI map (if available) should indicate which config.

I think Hull did a TR of his St Lucia flight where he talked of the new downstairs PE experience. Not sure if there's yet been a report on the new upstairs, so if you do get one of the upgraded aircraft and go for PE in the bubble please post a TR y)

I'm also on this flight in Upper (first time for me :D) and the seat map is showing the old layout at the moment.

I do keep checking to see if it has changed as I would love to try the new entertainment system!

I flew from LGW-UVF on Sunday 15th in PE
I was able to select seats using MMB on the Friday afternoon, then OLCI on Saturday morning.

Thanks for this y) y)

I think it seems to confirm the odds on not getting a refurbed plane - but anything can happen
