Tonywestsider kindly agreed to guest my colleague into the Clubhouse this afternoon. On arrival this lunchtime my colleague, who is flying on VS009 at 17.15, was told he must leave the lounge at 2.15pm, the same time as Tony is departing to board VS011. I gather this is a new rule. Had I known I would not have bothered to tell my colleague to turn up at the airport earlier than normal for his flight.

Do they actually enforce this -- i.e. hunt you down and eject you? I've always wondered!

...just don't wear anything which stands out!

Ooooh - a new game to while away the hours in there : Clubhouse Camouflage ... ;)

I should think that the enforcement is the reminder as you enter, I don't see people being hunted down! That said, a guest is a guest, and if VS wants to have the rule ...

I am actually impressed they took the time to scan the two boarding passes to check!!
Well done CH staff I say. Though I must admit I didn't know the rule was there. I have only ever had to guest people on the same flight as me (I have offered via this site before you say something :0 )

Actually, my guest was arriving at a different time because we were on two different flights. I had to leave at 2:15 to board my flight because it was leaving earlier. I did not see my guest in the Clubhouse, however, I assume everything was okay with my guest. VS seems to have been very discrete about the arrangement. Cheers to VS for letting me know about the policy. I had (as always) a pleasant stay and I hope my guest had the same as well.
