Thanks, that's great news! :) Am I correct in thinking then that there is space on these seats to recline, whereas other bulkhead seats are installed closer to the bulkhead?

Arrived back in to MAN on G-VTOP this morning, aching back from warn seats, very little leg room and the entertainment system needed re-booting twice. Keep your fingers crossed you dont ride on this one before she leaves the fleet !!

Is 923 a charter? With 2 744's in China, fleet is getting streched again..

Where's Jersey Girl?! :o
G-VROY has made her way to China for the beauty-treatment but no sign of VGAL returning yet :(( Hope she's not causing a pickle...

Let's hope she's back for my flight on Saturday. Virginia Plain is flying MAN-LAS today, so if she stays on that route for a while I fancy my odds on flying in one of the refits!

G-VTOP *should* stay at MAN for about a week, although they do sometimes swap twice in a week, unfortunately it is all just educated guesses.

Imagine G-VGAL will be back within the next week, maybe even tonight using the crew that flew G-VROY out on Tuesday?

Thanks. Have just checked my flight itinerary and the seat selection is available for my outward flight, despite OLCI not being open yet!
No bubble seats available however I've managed to get my first choice downstairs.

And can confirm it's an LGW-1 config 8D

What flight/date is that for?

G-VGAL is on her way back, so that is 5 a/c now in the new config.

She was out for just under a month, so we should expect G-VROY back at the very start of next month and all 7 a/c complete by early December on that schedule :)

Does anyone know when vtop is likely to leave the fleet? Will it be when the 7th refit is back?

I fly to MCO on the 14th dec and I know with my luck I will get vtop if it hasn't left the fleet by then!

Fingers crossed I'm wrong

No official date, but it is likely to be early next year when her lease is up.

Is V-TOP definitely leaving the fleet? We are flying MAN- LAS at the end of March and MAN-MCO (VS73) in July so odds are that we should have refurbs. I just keep thinking that they will keep V-TOP just in case and with my luck....!

I hope none of you get G-VTOP...flew into MCO from MAN on 3rd on this a/c...shocking.
The seats in the bubble are completely knackered, the back rest sinks inwards so your body is arched for the whole flight, recline or not, the armrests are falling apart, the entertainment system works if it feels like it.
I'll be very disappointed if I get this a/c again on our return flight on 24th.
Even now with a 5 in 7 chance, i'm not confident as G-VTOP seems to be very popular at MAN airport, rant over ;)

I've got my fingers toes and everything crossed for a refurb on Friday to MCO! I'm hopeful that seeing as G-VTOP's done her stint this week I'll be saved, as you say though, she's popular at Manchester :(

Do we think that G-VXLG (Ruby Tuesday) will go out in the next week and have two being refitted like we have had in the past month? I kinda hope so as i am flying in two weeks and a 5 in 6 chance is better than 5 in 7 :)
