Very interesting that they don't feature the 'dream' suite on the UC vid ... nice though.

Looks to me like the demonstrator for UC rather than a real AC? As for PE it seems A330/A340 esque but i thought the metal blind handles were yanked off a few years ago for weight saving?

"Metal" erm plastic and I strongly suspect nothing to do with weight and everything to do with pennies.

Well done Virgin, certainly sold it to me. y)
But did they use a ' vertically challenged' model in PE, and why does my meal never look so well presented in UC? ?|

I think VS is great but, even allowing for the excesses and hyperbole of advertisements, those videos are just hopelessly and irredeemably inaccurate.

Huh, very appealing ads..

Unfortunately at240 is spot on and they have used a great deal of artistic license in these :? :?

I guess everyone does, so why should VS be any different 8D

Don't recall getting all that leg room in PE ! Or is it that the woman is reclining but the seats in front are upright

Spot on Blacky, ahhhh the VS marketing machine at work... or perhaps they increased the distance between the seats for 'filming purposes' ): ):

All,
Surely if you're going to log onto You Tube to look at the 'official' VS cabin videos, you'll also take the time to log on and view the many consumer cabin videos on there! VS can't exaggerate those!

Where is the fun in that? :P :P

From a personal perspective I do find it interesting how VS (or anyone to be honest) markets a product that I have had experience with... then compare with reality. They are not called the dream factory for nothing (sorry NottinghamNick stole that from you :w )

I'm sure there are quite strict ASA rules around deliberately misrepresenting a product, but I too was rather surprised at the amount of PE legroom shown. If I genuinely get that much next year to Antigua, I'll be a very happy man indeed.

Incidentally, does anyone know the current PE 'bubbly' used? As I've seen bottles of Antech Brut knocking around the UC bar recently, and if it is that, then frankly I think I'd take it over Lanson anyway!

Cava Reserva Mont Marcal, Brut is the current PE bubbles.

For the PE video, her seat was definitely reclined, and what did they mean by extra luggage allowance? That only goes on about 3 of their routes.

General baggage allowance of 2 x 23kgs in W, as opposed to 1 x 23kgs in Y ( not route dependent).

Who was the barman? #justaskin

Nice videos - I don't think they've done anything more than any company would do to market their product.

Oh really? Thanks for the info. I guess it never occurred to me that it was so because from Lagos it's 2x23 for both W and Y
