Hi all - long time lurker first time poster.

I recently flew MBJ LGW upgrading to PE at airport check-in. For whatever I was only credited with the standard EC miles so I raised a query with VS and eventually fixed the problem. However my account is now mess with 10 entries for the date of travel showing miles and tier points being credited and then cancelled. In addition if I sum all the tier points over the past 12 months (can't work out how to get the VS site to show me any further back) I get 18 points yet the online account total is only 14. I've attached a screenshot of the transactions in my account.

Couple of questions:

- is this kind of mess normal when VS make manual changes to your accounts?

- how many tier points should I have earned including the current bonus offer? (flew EC out giving me 2 points which the bonus offer doubled)

- will VS fix things to remove all the pointless entries and correct the tier points total?

Yes it is a mess but that's how VS does it - tallying up your outbound and return the miles look right but they seem to have given you to many TPs (you should have 9, looks like you ended up with 13). Say nothing ;) .

It won't get cleaned up.

I've sent you a private message on how to check your full FC account history since the very first item.

As a PS to V-Flyers I'm wondering if, when the web team get to the FC account pages, the trick to view your full history will work any more. I copied and downloaded mine, just in case :) .

Thanks Slinky, useful tip re the full account history, will give that a go and get it saved off.

Re the TP- if only I actually had been credited the full 13 I'd be happy, my account summary is only showing 14 and I have a previous return to CUN (PE inbound) from the summer. How can the account figure not match the history info? Another piece of fine work by the VS IT department!

Yes, unfortunately this is how they do it - I had a similar experience earlier this year (I'll post a screenshot if I can find it) where things got into a terrible mess and it took a lot of persistence to get it sorted.

your current points total depends on the date of your "membership year" and not the last 12 months history
