Gold or not?

I am currently a gold card holder. I will lose my gold status Feb 1st. I am flying out UC to LHR as a gold card holder. My return flight, currently economy will be as a Silver card holder. As I booked the ticket with gold status and did 50% of the journey as a gold will I get gold privileges on the return? Club access and check-in?

Nope.
The "status" only relates to when you physically fly. What you had at the time of booking isn't relevant to the "perks" you get when flying - and each sector is treated on its own merits. You will at least get PE check-in for your return...


Although, check that your year actually runs out on Feb 1st as it's technically a rolling year of 13 months

Thanks. I have bought an upgradable ticket for the return but there are no upgrades available right now. Still have been lucky before and managed to grab one last minute. Must work on getting back to gold.....
