New PE seat or old one

I no that this question has probibally been asked so many times before but can any one tell me which PE seat is comfier the new seats or the old ones as i will have the choice when i fly on the LGW/MAN 744

old one,
better back support, wider and there does seem to be more pitch probably because the back shell of the seat in front is so bulky.

Thnks for the advice jaguarpig will be sitting on the old style seats now
do the new seats have bigger PTV'S?

I'm with Jag on this too. Old one all the way, apart from the new seat (when it's on a V:Port aircraft) having laptop power.

Old Seat and laptop power would make me very happy.

Hi,

I love the new seat upstairs on the LHR fleet, especially with V:port. But would not choose the new seat on the LGW fleet at they are downstairs and sitting in the bubble is better than the new seat!

Old seat in much more comfortable to sleep in, the new one is nearly impossible to sleep in at all.

However the new seats ont he day flights with PC power and Vport can be a very pleasant way to pass the day.

Personally I love the New PE AirChair. I find that it is very adjustable and makes me feel like United's Buz class (minus the food).

And the PE on the A346 is just sexy and modern. The old ones remind me of the 1980s [}:)] but it is all good. Whatever works.

Defo the old one - my bottom (fanny for US users - sorry having a fit of giggling as I type that[:o)][:I]) does not fit into the new ones very well. Shame that the PE seats all have a fixed arm rest though. When it is not too full its good to get the middle seat, shove up the arm rests and go bee-byes.

the new ones for me, more gadgits to play with and found the v port system superb and bigger screen

Defo the old one...bigger and more comfy, simple as that[8D]:D.
