Typical! I already have enough TP to renew gold next year and my current year ends end May. However a company trip has just been brought forward from the start of June to the start of May.

I was hoping those points would count towards next years renewal! I guess now they will be on my account all of three weeks - seems bit hard that!

Has anyone ever had any success in asking FC to end their year early? in circumstances like these?

I'm not sure they would be able to do that. I was on the phone for ages with them at a time when my TPs weren't added before my year ran out and all I got was that there was nothing they could do about the revolving year issue, but maybe I was just unlucky enough to be talking to an unhelpful person

Sadly I don't think they will do anything in these circumstances.

The true v-flyer response would be to book more flights and aim for 60TP before renewal to earn whatever benefit it is at that level. :D

They won't do anything, I'm afraid. There were plenty of posts in the past about how any TPs earned post-renewal are dead TPs unless you fly enough to reach UNIQ status - or whatever it calls itself these days. ?|

It has been posted on here before that some members hold more than one flying club membership at the same time http://v-flyer.com/forum/index.php?f=4&t=279101&p=839422&hilit=tinuks&rb_v=viewtopic#p839422

Could this be the answer to your dilemma? --- Haven't thought it through but may be worth thinking about?
