When do you get called to the gate at LGW?

I know they don't make announcements at Gatwick, but long before the flight is scheduled to depart do they call you to the gate?

There's nothing worse than sitting at Gatwick staring at a screen waiting for the gate number to come up. If I had a rough idea, I'd only start checking at around that time.

In the past, I have had the boarding time printed on the boarding passes and the Check In staff have also verbally told me. If that helps at all!!

The screens will usually show your flight number and a time when the gate will be announced. If not, I usually keep an eye out about an hour and a quarter beforehand.

If you can download apps onto your phone, there is a app (I think it's FlightStats) that does show "some" gates as well.
