I was just searching for economy mileage seats for November and noticed not only the mileage amount had gone down (from 45K to 33K) but also the fuel surcharge.

The reduction of the fuel surcharge is not only for the redemption sale offer period and states more information to follow.

Cheers for the info Jilly, just to post what the site says

Hold that thought! You may have noticed that we've lowered the amount of Fuel Surcharge on these long haul Economy flights. This change won't just apply to this offer period, so keep up to date via our Reward Flights pages as more information follows.

Perhaps indicative of the inbound Delta FFs that are used to NO 'surcharges' on reward flights.. Let us hope (or wishfully think) that YQ will be on the way out and they are more straight forward with their pricing.

Will this be countered with a steep drop in reward seat availability though :?

How much is the YQ reduction?

Is it something meaningful or the equivalent of threepence ha'penny?

The lowest amount I can see from the UK is £213 for LGW-MCO-LGW, not sure what it was before?

I'm sensing that this is perhaps a reason why the surcharge has only dropped in Y... Full surcharge for PE, I'm guessing.

What a shame,
I used my PE upgrade voucher for the first time in five years last month :(!
and the next one gets credited in August :(!

I have been waiting for the ECON reward sale and made use of my AMEX PE Upgrade vouchers to secure two adult returns to MCO in October. I happened to have done the same last year and compared the pricing;

2012

YQ233.00 GB130.00 XT24.00 TOTAL - 387.00

2013

YQ213.00 GB134.00 XT27.59 TOTAL - 374.59

Agreed, the mileage sale last year was 50% off rather than the 25% this year but all in all, two return flights to MCO in PE for less than £750 is a bargain in anyones eyes

I've just booked one way from MCO to MAN in December (we are cruising out). For 16,500 miles and $97.50 each! Happy doesn't begin to cover it!

I wonder if someone could please help?????

Im sure I'm not doing anything wrong but every time I search for a flight from MAN to MCO (looking about 5/12/13 but dates are flexible) keeps putting me on a flight to LHR then I have to make my to to LGW for my flight to MCO, but it will let me fly home from MCO straight into MAN???? ?| ?|

I've tried every date from 1st Dec until 10th and get the same each time??????

Any suggestions grateful :D

I was just looking into reward flights :D

We are a family of 5.

Myself, DH & 2oldest DDS (16&13)have enough points but youngest DD who is only 2 obviously doesn't have any points so would be paying £££ for her.

TBH I have a disability and flying economy would be really hard for me but just can't seem to get PE seats (which we have flown in previously for the last few years) at a reasonable £££££ .

Our dates are really flexible looking to go from MAN around 5th Dec to MCO returning 28th but again all comes down to £££

I've also looked at M&M prices but there nearly £200 more expensive per person to what we paid last year :(

Sorry for the ramblings but hope this makes sense!!!

I was searching the same dates/flights. It kept bringing up non direct flights only. There is a tab at the top of the available flights, that says "not happy? Search again". I clicked this and the direct flights to Man popped up. We plumped for 6th Dec as we much prefer the 747 to the airbus.

I keep trying this but still just getting outward bound flights from London??????
