Flying from MAN-MCO in January, outbound VS75, return VS76. I've been told it's a 747, don't know if it's a refurbed one or not. Every seat plan I look at for this route seems to say something different :D

How new is new? Probably will be an A330 delivered to VS 2-3 years ago.

The route is currently served by G-VKSS and G-VSXY but they're going for a mini-refit in October to turn them into 3-class (currently 2) so in theory it could be any of the 10 A330s in service.

Hi - where did you get that info from?
MAN is going to 2 x daily 747's from next year and from what I can see all of January the 75/76 is operated by a 747.

Ah okay, for the past couple of years the VS75/76 has been on the A333 a/c, but that is changing from next year when it is reverting back to the 747. Obviously the site data is historical so that is what will have caused the confusion :)

Many thanks!

It will be one of the LGW/MAN based aircraft.
The actual name/registration will not be made available until the day of your flight for security reasons.

Thanks CHill, I never realised that flight info told me aircraft type, Doh! I was only enquiring as to aircraft type just now! 747-400 apparently. 107 days to go!
