Will be our youngest daughters birthday on or next trip to MCO in May 2014.

What if anything can we do to make it a little more special, apart from going to Walt Disney World that is :D

Cheers
Mark

How old will your daughter be?

I was on a VS flight to the US on my 18th... my folks preordered a cake and I had no idea about it until they announced over the PA - "Could Mr joeyc please make himself known to a member of cabin crew, your preorder is ready.." n(

Kinda sucked the fun out of the occasion I'm afraid - this was a fair few years ago though so things may have changed.

If you tell the crew about the birthday girl in PE and where she is sitting they may be able to do something with her dessert or, as gfonk says, something with some stuff found in retail therapy.

I had the misfortune to be bumped off my birthday flight this year to BGI (UC). So the preorder that I was unaware of never materialised. At least that didn't disappoint swell!

I'm sure just being on the plane going out to MCO will be exciting enough.

I'd prebook some cake(s). We did this for #1 daughter when flying to BOS a few years back just after her O Level (or whether they are called nowadays) results. Worked a treat, it was delivered to the seat with none of prewarning that Joey had, she got embarrassed and we got a glass of champagne from UC.

That reminds me - I had a Birthday on a plane a few years ago. Nothing special happened, but I was freaked out by having a 29 Hour Birthday (London to East Coast USA)
I wondered whether I'd aged by not one year but 29/24ths of a year!
