We have just booked UC flights in the sale and when I logged into our booking there is no aircraft type showing for our flight to MCO. We are not travelling till May 14 - my question is when will I be able to select our seats. Just wondering if it may be a Dreamliner?

at T-90 you should be able to make your "seat request".

My understanding is that the Dreamliner is unlikely to be in operation that early. I think people had mentioned that if it does come in to the fleet it is more likely to be from September 14 (ISTBK).

gfonk - thank you. I wonder if anyone could tell me when you are able to select your seat after booking is confirmed. In the past I have always been able to select seat once confirmed.

You can only request your seats from 90 days before departure now.

Its been a while now but you did used to be able to request a seat at the time of the booking. However as mitchja said now you will need to wait until T-90 then log in to MMB.
My understanding is that as long as there hasnt been an operational reason to move you and as long as you checkin up to 2 hrs prior to your flight then you have a pretty good chance of getting the seat. Ofcourse until you are in your seat anything can change even after check in.
