What would you like to see from VS in 2014?

(Compare last year's thread: forum/index.php?f=4&t=278110&p=833347&rb_v=viewtopic#p833347)

One of my answers would be: please finish the website upgrade! And a LAX Clubhouse!

What does everyone else wish for?

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all v-flyers! :)

+1 to all of that! In addition:

Please don't let Delta ruin the LHR Clubhouse or any other aspect of the VS service.

Some new Little Red routes would be great, if unlikely, to coincide with the move to T2.

And finally, Mr Kreeger if you're reading this, how about doing something surprising and unexpected - something no-one saw coming, something innovative, something that helps restore the faith some loyal VS customers have lost in recent years, and something that really earns VS its moniker of "Flying in the Face of Ordinary", like it genuinely used to?

Silver membership to mean something :) just a little nudge - maybe priority boarding on little red.

Get rid of Reel - always such a dissapointment when the a340 is announced (esp as they will be flying the lax route)

A Dreamliner or two ... Maybe even a wet lease a380 (that happens right)

Gold status for a random flight - like a sporadic upgrade, you could be awarded honorary status for a trip upon checkin.

Looking back at last year's wish list, out of the dozens of suggestions only a couple actually happened so I'm not holding out much hope!

VTOP was retired (now on lease to Saudi Arabian Airlines apparently, lucky Saudis) and on-board wifi was introduced on some aircraft.

- sort out the website, booking system etc etc
- retire the 340-300s
- get the partnership with DL working for maximum benefits at each end with connections etc.
- don't let the wing/CH at LHR be ruined/overrun by hundreds of extra DL users.

- Belfast (BHD) and Singapore
- some key Europe routes like Milan, Frankfurt, Madrid, Paris, Moscow
- Bury the UCDS in an unmarked grave
- remove the 1 year expiry of the 80TP upgrade (mine has 7 days to go and not likely to get used...)
- additional reward availability, especially in the holidays. Maybe something like BA where golds get extra seats from a higher revenue bucket?

And a very merry Christmas to all.

Remember it only has to be booked within a year - for up to 330 days in advance. I can understand them not wanting the upgrades out there indefinitely (as it's possibly a balance sheet item for airlines, just like miles are). So, you effectively have 2 years to book using the upgrade...

From Manchester or Edinburgh, cos I could get from Manchester to Gatwick probably quicker on the train than if they ran a flight from Manchester...

Couldn't agree more with this!!! Big time !!
Small things make a huge difference! The current UC amenity kits for a start!!
Defo agree about not ruining the CH with too many DL pax! In my experience this is already happening :-(
