For some but not all gfonk..

Enjoy your time in the NRT CH, not been there for a while, but from what I recall it was a sound place to spend a bit of time before embarking upon the road home.

I see you forgot to pray to the G-VSUN god last night and thus she will not be smiling upon you today. Hope that tablet is fully loaded with entertainment and you manage some shuteye.

Safe travels 8D

Welcome back, hope your flight was good and looking forward to TRs and reports of your trip, after you've recovered from the shock of being home in Blighty once again.

TTFN,
Bretty :)

Glad the Mrs is on the mend, poor thing, hope she's getting plenty of TLC lol. Don't think about the CC statement until it comes in, you can at least be a bit oblivious for a while longer, and what's a good holiday for if not to spend a little more than normal? ):

Cheers,
Bretty

Yep I can report the missus is much better but I seemed to have a 24hr spell of man flu lol
You are so right about spending on holiday-life is too short plus I love shopping lol if you don't enjoy spending money then tokyo is not the place to go. If like me you love fashion then tokyo is the place. If someone asks "how much founding should I take to Tokyo?" My answer is "as much as possible"

Man flu eh? That elusive bug lol :$

Can't say I'm a fashionista, but I do love to shop for clothes, shoes, gadgets, trinkets of many kinds... In fact, when the mood is on me I get very frustrated if I can't find anything to buy and will revert to buying expensive socks just to satisfy the need to make a purchase!! Drives my OH mad ): I have a drawer filling up with unworn Jasper Conran, Ted Baker etc socks! Sad I know :|

Have already started stocking up on Yen, assume credit cards widely accepted in
Tokyo / Kyoto for large shops, but understand it is mainly still a cash society. We do like to spend on hols, I had to buy an extra suitcase in Canada last year to transport everything we bought, and still had some stuff in our other cases!!

I have a couple of questions for you so will inbox you with those mate.

Never got refused using my Amex at all. Same cannot be said for London tho lol

You can even use the Tokyo Oyster card called SUICA to pay in convenient stores and in some taxis!!! NFC technology has been around for ages there yet we are still not able to use our oysters or mobiles in the same way lol
Yep PM me anytime!
