Hi Guys

We are trying to book seats for our flight to Antigua on the 22nd of February.

The flight number is VS033, unfortunately the outbound flight is showing "Where's my seat? Currently unavailable."

Does this mean that all the flight seats have been booked, we have been checking for a few weeks waiting for windows seats to become available, although only the middle seats were available to book.

We are traveling via premium economy.

What do we need to do to book our seats prior to the flight?

Many Thanks

Only 60% of seats are available to request prior to check in. Once those 60% have been selected, the seat map closes until OLCI opens 24 hours before the flight, at which point the remaining 40% will open up (including some of the preferred window seats).

It's worth checking back 2 or 3 days before OLCI opens as on some flights a block of seats is reserved for Virgin Holidays, which are released back into the general mix if they're not needed.

Otherwise, though, all you can do now is wait until OLCI opens. For the best selection, make sure you are ready to start OLCI exactly 24 hours before your flight is due to depart.

according to ExpertFlier (http://uk.flightaware.com/ ) there are only three singletons in the middle 3's available at present and a few to be allocated at CI . As is usual this time of year PE on the Caribbean flights is stuffed- even more than UC which is only about half full (worth checking for upgrade?). I would keep looking right up to OLCI - but from bitter experience it often does not work out, and you end up staying with the allocation - there is a sizeable percentage of middle seats and someone has to sit there....
The good news is that the weather here in Antigua is pretty good- 25/27deg with occasional showers. We leave on 18th, so will leave it tidy for you! Good Luck.
