Don't know if anyone can help me I am flying to BGI in May and have decided to try PE after a bad experience wuth BA WT Plus last year. Can anyone advise the best seats for my partner and I ? My partner is 6ft 6 and I know that we are unable to reserve bulk head seats. Any advice would be great.

I haven't flown in PE on the A330 and don't like to see your post without a reply…..

Try this in the interim.

Welcome! :)

Incidentally and nothing to do with the OP, but on this thread (and only on this thread) I am getting the below error and a very large view of blank question/reply space.

I flew to Dubai last week on a 3 class A330 and I managed to get 18A both ways. It is a bulkhead seat with bassinet, so you may not get it if there are PE babies traveling. However, it has loads of legroom so it would be worth asking at check-in for 18A and 18C.

Get your husband to stand on tip-toes at the check-in desk and they might show some sympathy :)

I'm not sure if 19A & 19C on the other side have quite the same. I would be careful as sometimes you get less legroom than a normal seat because you can't put your feet under the seat in front.

Good luck

Martin

Row21 has no window, other than that usual rules apply, not too near the loo and forward rows have a better chance of meal choice.

I am 6ft 2in and I can fit nicely into a Virgin EC seat so I'm interested as to what problems you had with BA WT+ esp as I'm flying that later this year.

To reiterate the above, pre-book/request another seat (probably the last row as it's got better recline) and try to get the bulkhead at check-in as it's only available at check-in and it does depend on the number of babies on board.

Sorry about the delay in my reply Fuzzy14, when I flew back from BGI on BA WT+ the staff were very rude, my tv was broken and all the seats in the cabin were taken and when our evening meal arrived on route back to LGW both my siter and I ordered fillet steak and it was sadly cold. However I hope that you have a much better experience than me, this is why I thought I would give PE a try this year.

Thanks for the reply, I had assumed your bad experience was to do with your partners height! Oh dear doesn't sound like a good flight hoping they've improved.
