so today i just decided to randomly give VS a call and see whats what and to my amazement there were not one but two Gs available outbound and inbound, so what else is a v-flyer to do lol
So now the countdown begins.
Also there was no mention of seat selection? do i still need to wait till T60?
Also now that i rinsed a massive portion of my airmiles im thinking about miles booster, would i be right in thinking if i buy double that i would in effect triple my airmiles for this flight?
i have even booked two of the hotels already lol and glad i did as the rate has since gone up!!

Well done!
We always boost our miles after a trip, as the ad says...get to those rewards faster!

Seat selection will be from 25th June like all seat requests that aren't at T-60 at the moment, then for all pax apart from those not paying to select seats in Y it will be from the time of booking.

Additional: just checked my MMB and my FC number is not associated with my booking? hmmm t would have expected it to be automatic given that I did call the AU line to book and redeem miles in the first place.
Minor detail I suppose as I can just enter it myself.
Anyway just glad to have got the Gs!! Thats the most important bit. :-)

I'm so jealous. I'm so busy trying to maintain AU that I never get to book reward flights. I miss my red and AG days when all I cared about was using miles to get bookings.

But hey ho. I'll look at the miles piling up as my retirement savings

@roxy-popsy thanks :)
I will definitely try to do my TR a bit quicker next time. I did do a TR for the outbound but I think I have forgotten to do my return TR from my previous trip :|
I will defo do the milesbooster this time!! its coming out at £248 to double the base miles of 12,000miles

@tinuks - yes you can look forward to using them all one day, thats a good idea and also if you have the flexibility then usually easier to redeem
