Mileage Upgrades

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows if I can use my air miles to upgrade my wife's ticket from PE to UC, even though she is registered on the flight with an ANA frequent flyer account?

Pretty sure you can only upgrade a VS flight using VS miles.
You can buy a ticket with ANA but not use ANA miles to upgrade.
