Hi All,

I will be flying LHR - LAX on VS7 in October.
I have been onto the Virgin Website to choose my seats and noticed that Seats 80J and 80K on the back row of the upper deck were available - so have reserved these.

I did some research online and have got mixed reviews about these seats. Some people say it is great sitting upstairs, so quiet and better services.

Others have said that Row 80 is particularly bad as the seats dont recline as much as others due to the toilet directly behind you.

Can anyone advise what Row 80 is like?

My only other option is that I move downstairs, as there are no other seats upstairs available.

Please help!! i)

Good to know.
And your thoughts on being upstairs?
Would you choose row 80, or would you choose downstairs if row 80 was your only option?

Hi there

Ive reserved these seats yesterday at T-60 and they are our preferred seats on the refitted 747's . They are indeed upstairs , but are not adjacent to the toilets , they are directly infront of the storage wardrobe for cabin baggage.

Additionally , they fully recline and the window seat has the benefit of a separate storage compartment to the right.

IMO , great seats , some of the best in Economy and as youve already been told , quiet and probably service is a little better

I would go for these seats every time if available.
Upstairs is a much nice cabin environment to fly, the seats do have full recline and you will be the first economy pax off the a/c, which is always helpful when you have LAX immigration to contend with.
