Emailed Craig Kreeger on the address people provded hereon Tuesday and got a call back from CS just now. Been given a goodwill gesture that I'm happy with and am content with the outcome.

Also, I now have the refund I was due, and a cheque for £50 is in the post to me.

I have been wondering about whether to email VS about my airmile issue! maybe I will today, got nothing to lose by trying.

So I got my 'full refund' from VA. A full £199.50 out of the £1330.51 I originally paid for the flights that they have now cancelled to Japan.
Going to be calling them up tomorrow and they better refund me the rest of the money asap. Otherwise it will taken further because I'm looking at this as theft.

Well, looks like there's my primary route. At least they moved it back to the red eye / not 9AM from LHR, I'd always take the VS 2/17 pairing.


Glad to see the 1 is going back to a decent time slot, I have been flying the 1/2 for years, but the 9am time slot was useless for me. so happy that I can go back to the 1 next year

So - over 1 month on, I am still waiting for my £50 cheque.

VS sent it to my old address for some unknown reason, despite me using the correct address on the letter I sent them and having updated my FC account a year ago.

According to the Facebook team they're now waiting for confirmation from some admin team as to whether the original cheque was cashed, and will then issue me with a new one.

Timescale is 'soon...'

What a shambles...! n(
