It's been a while since I was last here -2006 looking back at my last post so not exactly up to speed with the new whizzy UC services these days

2009 since my last VA flight as well, the shame :)

Finally managed to spend my hard earned miles and got UC reward seats into SFO and out of LAX next year, very happy about that

I have a fair few miles left and wanted to book chauffeur service as well, question is "can I use UC Wing / DTCI on a reward ticket or wil I just be dropped off at T3"

Thx

If you've booked a reward ticket then you will have to spend more miles for the CDC which will then use the DTCI.

Wonderful thank you, good to see some of the names i remember still active on the site

Really looking forward to UC next year, been a long time since the last one

Might as well use the miles up and do it in style

But you can also phone FC and book and pay with a credit card. It isn't cheap, minimum charge is £60. So for example, we recently used CDC for DTCI with pickup at one of the airport hotels, charge was £61.49. To use miles it will cost 17500 for a CDC one way. For me it was worth the expense.

Probably just going to burn through all the miles to get rid of them, don't fly enough anymore to build a decent amount up again, no more work trips to Vegas
Got enough for a limo and a Virgin America flight and then the pot is empty

Just book a taxi and call them with the details. You can still use the DTCI.

I called them enroute to Heathrow once I knew the type of car, driver, reg etc.
