A few months ago I managed to get 2 reward UC flights to NY with PE on the way back. So the daily hunt for return Gs began. On Saturday evening I checked and 1 had appeared. Called VA and upgraded hubby. Told the gentleman that it was my birthday trip and I would check every day for the 2nd one.

Today I had a missed call and listening to the answer phone message it was the same gentleman that had helped me on Saturday and he had noticed a G on my flight home . He had reserved it for me as he remembered it was a special birthday trip. After a quick call back to VA it was booked and all sorted.

A massive thank you to the very kind VA employee for thinking of me y)

I will also be sending this to VA. Does anyone have a good email address so that this employee gets the credit he deserves ??

That's really great customer service, and serena, just send off your feedback via the website but name the employee and the feedback will get through, you could ask to ensure he's told too.
