Increased Manchester capacity

Thursday and Sunday are the normal days for LAS from MAN, so presumably they will be shuttling another A/C up from LGW to operate these extra flights?

Good to see some more capacity coming up north. I guess they still need more year-round flights to justify a CH at MAN... Maybe one day!

Yep, I got that part! But the way I read it is the Thu/Sun MAN-LAS will operate as well as the additional MAN-MCO frequencies. Usually MAN-LAS/BGI/MCO share the same A/C so they would still need to find an extra one somewhere in the system!

I expect two 744s will be permanently based at MAN along with the 330 for the Atlanta

We can only hope for a Clubhouse at MAN. I think it would definitely encourage more passengers to use VS if the ground service was at least as good as LGW. Might be a positive upward cycle as people don't have to travel far down to LHR/LGW for the same UC/PE experience.

Heathrow config then, a good bunch of reward seats to vegas once a week. Suits me fine. If only there was a clubhouse...

Was Craig Kreeger not quoted saying that the additional capacity at Manchester and also expansion to Vegas from Glasgow not part of the plan for VS following Little Reds demise.

On a side note I would not be surprised to see DL start a JFK service from Glasgow code shared with VS. United have the route solely currently it performs well and American have just announced a JFK from Edinburgh. Definitely see the DL/VS growth in the UK moving to MAN/GLA/others following Little Reds closure in 2015.
