hello from MCO skyclub

after a grueling week of meetings and corporate rah rah, on the way home now, MCO-ATL-LHR, hoping for a good journey and that my baggage arrives with me this time

fairly quiet in the skyclub, arrived here just before the breakfast buffet switched to lunch, began with raisin bran and now am having a surprisingly tasty lentil soup with crackers

last time i was here it is was packed, it's a lot more pleasant this time

sticking to soda water for now, i'll begin the sedation at ATL and hope for a decent sleep, i need it pretty tired after the long days, also was getting up 0430 every morning to go to the gym for some 'me time' and to keep my body clock a bit closer to home

luckily am in PE and hoping to do a miles upgrade, but it's company TA ticket so i'm not getting my hopes up

we were due to head off UC reward flight to BOM week after next, but sadly sungodess injured her leg badly so we will be here while she has an operation instead of enjoying warm sun at the hilton shillim, now with VS dropping the route it's unlikely we'll do it in future, sigh

loadcheck shows at least 9 UC, but as expected my toxic TA ticket was deemed unworthy, they offered a PE-UC cash upgrade for $1800, hahaha, thinking of veering back to the dark side for IAD in a couple of weeks, never get this issue with BA

anyway, just had nice pasta and a glass of barbaresco in the italian restaurant upstairs, now going to try out the skyclub
