And in my humble opinion VS loses big time when this happens. I take the VS7/9 and 23/24 regularly and they are always busy, then BA have three daily flights with two on A380s so there's demand to LA. And it's a premium route and a new clubhouse. VS should be marketing this big time and putting on two or three daily flights but the company seems timid. Oh well.

Originally Delta took the VS23 slot and VS went down to one a day, whilst starting ATL. Operating all year round.

Then when all of the "Network Changes" occurred with the loss of NRT, VS announced a "2nd daily" LAX flight. Which was introduced from end of March.

That flight was the "new" VS23 to start the end of March, with a 1215 slot out of LHR.

Then the DL and VS swapped so the VS23 went back to its 15:45 slot, and the DL flight the earlier 12:15, closer to the VS7.

It's interesting because the original Network Changes announcement last year made no mention of the second and newly reintroduced 23 being seasonal, so I am wondering if the only reason it is dropping for the winter this year is the lack of Dreamliner's and once the full 787 fleet is in it will continue to be a double daily service?

That would be good, thanks.
