Virgin redemption rates for ANA?

Hi All!

Information seems to be thin on the ground ... Does anyone have an idea of the redemption requirements to fly on ANA using Virgin Atlantic miles?

In particular looking for ANA first class between IAD-NRT

From memory the cost is based on distance travelled. Also I think they now fly into hnd. If you haven't gone before it's an amazing product they have

Cheer, I did check but unfortunately that link doesn't list the redemption rates for international flights!

All I can see is that first class redemptions start at 40,000 miles, and as far as I can tell it does depend on distance.

Peter Stansfield memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=3143 has had success with this, although doesn't say how many miles were burned. Probably worth messaging him though.

I spent 240,000 on two first class returns HND-LHR. We got downgraded to business on the return leg, and Virgin refunded the 240,000 miles, but then took 190,000.

Never really understood the calculation, but felt it was good value...

It seems possible to get First class in Jan-Mar, but after April it seems almost impossible
