An Idea : Post Your Favorite Holiday/Vacation Photo

Where was this taken ? I know it's tough but it's my favourite place on Earth and definitely the most amazing pic I've ever taken ...

Not got a clue where it is but that's a great photo.

Some really good ones on here, have people managed to get many printed? It's been our resolution this year to make sure we get a few off the computer and onto our walls, going ok so far, have managed to do a couple from our Death Valley trip and will hopefully get a few more over the next year or two.

Mrs D prints off photo books A3 size for holidays. We only take about 3000 pictures per trip so she has a few to choose from. It certainly beats the old days of shooting 5 rolls of film and waiting two weeks to see if they have come out.

Looks similar to when landing in Boston - so I am guessing Cape Cod

I'd be surprised if that's cape cod as that's 60 odd miles south of Boston but it could be the approach to Boston definitely

Another one for you to guess ... It's in the Northern Hemipshere and it's a place that was used by smugglers until it was bought over ...

My personal favourite of those posted so far has to be from LucyLU. That is a stunning photograph.

This was at about 9.30 in the morning

A clue for mine - it's a volcano where you can hike into the crater, on a beautiful, beautiful island. The summit exceeds 10k feet

Thanks Maximus. It was taken a year ago in Barbados on the south coast near the old Amaryllis. We'd decided to take a walk along the boardwalk but kept going as the sun set and ended up walking in the dark, which isn't the best idea. The photo was taken with an aging Canon Ixus, which I take away with me because I have a waterproof housing for it so I can take it diving, I'm not a photography expert whatsoever, so it was just one of my lucky shots!
