A346 snooze zone moved?

Hello everyone, quick question whilst I taxi today's VS9. I notice that there's a curtain in the UC cabin approx half way along, between row 7 and 8. This doesn't match up with the seat map which has the snooze zone starting at row 4.

Has it moved ...? If so I may need to shift as my friend and I are currently booked into 4&5K!

That curtain rail has always been there, well has been there when I've flow the 346.

I dont think the snooze zone is in place any more. It used to be in place on the upper deck of the 747 from NY in recent years... but as for the 346 I cant remember (for at least 5 years) the last time it was in action.

i was on a 346 night flight the week before, no indication/announcement of a snooze zone

meal service was normal throughout UC - i was in 3K, i declined the meal to bed down asap, but i recall the person in 2K ordering theirs, though with eyeshades/earplugs i was happily sleeping long before they were served

i woke early while the cabin was dark and there was no curtain, but by that time all of UC was a snooze zone

I was once on a A346 and the curtain was just behind me and I was worried I would be expected to just bed down. Far from it I still got the full service of dinner etc

And remember the snooze zone depends on the route being flown not the plane. There used to be a list of the flights with a snooze zone and which seats formed the zone on the seat maps page of the VS website but this vanished ages ago.

The flights that have snooze zone still show it on your seat map.

I've got a VS12 flight in Aug on a A346 and the snooze zone is showing as rows 1-4.

On the VS400 operated by the A346s the snooze zone is still marked on the seat map as rows 1-4 though as Sungod has explained this hasn't been enforced or announced on flights I've been on and a full service for those wishing to be involved has taken place.

I've never seen the point of having a snooze zone unless it's in its own clearly defined space - eg upstairs on the 747 or in that little mini cabin they used to have on the A343.

Designating the front 4 rows of an A346 is pretty pointless when the passengers in row 5 may be getting a full meal service.

And the reality on those short hops from the east coast or to DXB is that most people bed down pretty quickly anyway, wherever they're sitting.
