I agree wholeheartedly with you James.
I am an ex-smoker and yes I now avoid smoking areas whenever possible but I honestly believe smoking is a choice and even a right for the individual. As much as I do not want smoke blown in my face, I feel special areas are essential for the smoker. I am not saying go back to allowing smoking in offices, restaurants, on trains etc but be fair allow these 'normal' people to smoke in designated areas.
