online check in

so we are booked to fly tomorrow morning and all of a sudden my app went berserk telling me to check in online. We are taking luggage, so I am unsure of the benefit of checking in online rather than doing it all in a 1. I presume as I have seats selected it makes no difference.

It is always prudent to check in online. It tells the airline that you intend to travel and there is less chance of being offloaded if the flight is overbooked. You have nothing to lose by checking in online and everything to gain.

ahh ok, I will do it when I get in then as I don't have passport numbers etc to hand.
