A340-600 routes

Just had an aircraft swap for Delhi to an A346, never imagined it would fly this route, is this one of those phantom app changes that will soon revert to the 787 or 333 or am I likely to be on the 346?

VS have been using an A346 on the DEL route now since the beginning of April so far so it's not just a phantom A/C app change.

I don't think there are any ex-LHR routes that VS wouldn't use an A346 on.

Even LAX is getting a few a340s now. I'd imagine it could be a mix of increase demand and 787 incident in Johannesburg.

It’s had to change from the scheduled 330 to a 340 due to the current extended flight time on the return sector as they can’t overfly Pakistan airspace at the moment so flight is taking 2 to 3 hours longer and the aircraft needs a crew rest area to extend the crew hours
