Virgin air miles idiots guide

Hi, I took out a Virgin Atlantic credit card last year as we may be flying with Virgin a bit in the coming years. Is there an idiots guide anywhere please about how to use benefits because I'm having trouble getting to grips with reward seats, upgrades, use of miles etc. Thanks in advance.

When V-Flyer was at its peak a few years ago we did maintain an FAQ about spending miles, but the goalposts move so often that a document like this quickly becomes out of date and no one has the time to keep it current.

In those days the VS website was a bit ropey to say the least, but now I think it is much better for explaining the rules in simple terms and is kept up to date.
