Well, I’m still stuck here in Tom Bradley waiting for G-VBEL to begin boarding.
You don’t know how good the small VS lounges are until you have to deal with this kind of place.
They’re using the star alliance lounge at the moment whilst there’s building work going on in the other terminal. I have it on good authority that they’ll return there (thank god) but for now it’s a bit sucky.
Food is OK. Classic cold buffet with some hot options, but I’ve been waiting for the hot stuff to be refilled for a while now and I’m about to give up hope.
Plenty of drinks though.
And the open air patio is nice if you like being outside.
Might head down to PF Chang’s for some slightly improved food options.
Edit to add: this lounge gets busier later in the evening thanks to all the European bound star alliance flights. So the earlier VS flights are better for a quieter lounging environment.
