Hello all,
I'm very new to Virgin Travellers Club and V-Flyer so hope someone can help me out.
I've recently taken a job which will involve at least 10 transatlantic flights per year and have selected Virgin to travel with.
Recently I flew to New York for a personal trip and also flew with Virgin but I'm very confused as to how they calculate mileage earnt for trips!?
Granted, I flew EC on both the outward and inward trips but on my account my return flight is described as 'Discounted Economy Class' and only 50% of the miles have been awarded. Please help to explain how miles are earnt and calculated.
Also, I've tried to contact Flying Club Customer Service with the same request with no joy at all!!?? Is this to be expected??
Not sure if I'm doing the right thing by joining the Virgin loyalty club - does anyone have any other experience with BA or American Airlines??
Many thanks in advance!
