Been trying since 1235 today to book seats on above flight- to no avail...flying PE and a bit of a special trip- we'd booked and paid for this over 8 months ago. We've been unable to book seats until today due to the MAN/LGW refurb situation even though i understand we'll still be on an unrefurbed aircraft tomorrow.
You ring the customer service dept and simply get told this is a problem weve known about for a while...you cant check in online nor can you book a seat.This is appalling in my view. i've been sat at the computer all day to try to ensure 3 of us are seated together and the system doesnt work...all you get told is "keep trying" it may work later
A Saturday spoiled when we should be looking forward to our holiday.
Get a grip VA ...if there's no reasonable prospect of the system working today why dont they simply announce all seats will be allocated at the airport? Poor in my view.
