In recent weeks, I have had two very good experiences on the VS website.

I have managed to book 1 reward flight from LHR to HKG in Upper and then, this morning, I managed to book 2 x Upper flights from SYD - HKG in Feb next year- all without hanging on the phone for ages or talking to an agent who doesn't know the rules. 8D

This wouldn't be newsworthy with any other airline. But, with the VS system, it is remarkable that everything was done without a hitch. y) y)

Have I just been lucky, or have they finally fixed the glitches?

The other good news, is that I have got my preferred dates on every flight (so far!)

No, still has issues for me. Just tried a very straight forward reward Upper return flight to JFK in June and after selecting dates I just get:

You should of saved posting that experience till tomorrow, would of been a corking April Fool...! ( you are blessed by the sound of it..)

Shame the IT time spent on volcanic projects couldn't be rechannelled into it's company's fundemental system problems....

Successfully booked 2 return G fares to Miami via the website this morning without a hitch at T -336 days. Seems like it is working again.

Bye bye miles, hello Clubhouse and Miami. Now just have to wait for the cluster erm 'event' when seat reservations come back on.
