Anyone know why the incoming flight from MCO is going via Cardiff?
It had to add more fuel as it used more than expected.
I'm sure it had plenty of fuel to reach LGW the issue was the pilot didn't want to eat into any contingency but even still it's a 747 nowhere near the limit of it's range I find it pretty odd that it had to stop and refuel. The headwinds must have been exceptional.
Is this sort of information available to the public or only for industry 'insiders' - just curious.

If you look on the virgin app and put the flt no it comes up with reason fo the delay, hope that help.
