I think this is quite an interesting topic.
I have been on an easyjet flight to a terrible spanish resort once (never again, but thats another story), and there were a lot of lager loutish "lads" that were getting rather roudy and singing football songs. It did make for a rather uncomfortable flight. Eventually the pilot made an announcement that if they did not behave themselves he would make an unscheduled landing in a different location to "offload" them.
While I am not a big drinker per say, I am not against people having a few drinks but I am against the loutish behaviour that seems to come with silly drinkers (decent v-flyers excluded obviously).
so I guess I am saying that I am in favour of such a ban on this type of route.
