I don't post much on here anymore, but felt I should just row in here to agree wholeheartedly with

I'm watching the developments here with "Nervous Optimism". While being a member of IAG, should by all accounts give, EI a firm financial footing to continue their very good work of late, be of benefit to those of us with our feet firmly in the BAEC program & perhaps help expand the EI TATL network.
The prospect of "Wee Wille" being back at the helm again gives me shudders, as I think of the de-moralised crew & staff of not that many years ago !
The complete erosion, of food, service & overall standards, that has taken place at BA, in particular in CW, since he took over there, doesn't bode well for the currently excellent service on EI, TATAL J in particular.
Then there is the absolute massive implications to ORK & SNN. The breath of which cannot really be fully understood in fairness, unless you are actually here & use those airports on a regular basis.
This, for us here on this sodden little green island of ours, is a huge deal, not to mention a political hot potato. On the surface I feel it could be a good thing, but I'm very much apprehensive as to what the reality of IAG ownership could do to our airline & those who use it, in the long term.
