There is also the very sad factor that when you are fortunate enough to fly in J most of the time it does lose that sparkle, especially when you are familiar with flying and know the whole routine. I think SFO is my most flown route, and in Upper every time but one. I much prefer Upper but the time I flew home PE I was plesantly surprised how good it was. I cant say that there is no comparison between W and Y - if there wasnt then the product wouldnt survive as its often double the price of Y.
I guess it depends on what you look for in a flight, or how well you are looked after by the crew. Richard and I have had flights in Premium that were better than a few flights in Upper vecause of how well the crew looked after us. Similarly I have had the opposite where the crew in Premium have treated us like a number or joe public and I missed that touch that most good airlines give in J that make you feel important to them.
Thanks,
Sarah
