Hi,
Just heard on TV that MAXJET is starting a new service IAD to STN, [Stanstead]on April 4th.

This is to be an all "business class" flight, 767-200's configured for 102 pax.

Fares are around 1500 dollars, but checking the website I spotted a flight in June for aprox 800 dollars. I have no idea why there are differing prices quoted, up to 2000 dollars for the same flight, but it looked as if you could chooses the lowest price.

The seats are all in pairs, I think sets abreast so no middle seats. The pitch is good, with large tables if you want to work. he food seemed to be decent.

I don't want to push them too much as I am very satisfied with V.A. and hope SRB has taken notice of the new starter, but even at 1500 dollars it gives PE a run for its money on the DC - London route.

Will this be the start of aprice war???

While MaxJet had been covered in the thread that Ben has pointed to, I don't believe the IAD service is under discussion already.

I will, however, move this into the "Other Airlines" forum, along with the original thread, to keep both topics together.

The Dulles lounge is the Northwest lounge. Also MaxJet (TM) has a FFP and you could start to earn points from Nov. 1, 2006.
