Is this the start of V-Port roll out for LGW/MAN?[:w]

Is this not kinda strange that they are spending millions refitting this plane that is 9 years old, when they are getting rid of some 340-300's that are only 3 years older than that.

It seems like an enormous investment for something that might only be with the fleet for another 2 or 3 years, when the "original" (won't use the A word;)) Gatwick fleet was only delivered in 2001.

I hope the "Fly a Younger Fleet" won't actually be "Fly a younger fleet from Heathrow".

... just a small caveat to the above - I know that 9 years old isn't considered to be "old" in the airline industry.

However, if its true that this is the start of the refit programme [y][y][y][^][^][^][y][y][y]

i was asking has v-port been fitted as i have seen a very recent pic of G-Vast in amsterdam during her A Check and she has the new prem seats in her and what looks like in the distance the new econ seats. i wanted to know if these seats include V-Port or are they just new seats but old I.F.E ???

Hi Craig, and welcome [y]

Countdown clocks are one of the many benefits of being a member of the site. Further info on membership can be found here.

I'm sure you'll get a lot out of the site between now and when you fly (hopefully, even beyond then, too ;))
