Have prebooked seats for trip to MCO late April, return Mid may.

managed to get seats upstairs for outbound, but they only have downstairs available for prebooking the return trip. I have read that downstairs is to be avoided as it is not as quiet or well served as upstairs. I have paid a lot of money for PE this time (my decision to do so I know)but feel very strongly that you should get what you pay for.

I have rung VH/VA a number of times and they have said they will make a note on the booking, but I will have to ask Downtown Disney check in to reallocate, if seats are available then. This seems a little inconvenient to me. Any suggestions/tips or experiences anyone can share?

Your advice would be much appreciated.

Not a lot you can do apart from cross your fingers. Having sat down stairs in PE a few times it's ok, We experienced good service with no difference from upper deck.

I have sat both upstairs and downstairs PE and other than the physical isolation of being upstairs there is no real difference. The service has always been the same.

Downstairs is not a problem -the service is fine. Remember any PE seat(wherever it may be) is better than a seat in economy!

The service for upper deck and main deck PE is laid down by Q&P and is followed by crew so you wont miss out on anything downstairs at all, in Fact you even get the retail therapy cart downstairs and upstairs only get asked ? so some ways that is more than they get upstairs. Not to mention that if your call bell is on you will usually get the senior crew from upper class answering it so there are more staff available to assist on the maindeck
